This intense, five-day course combines the AKBD Prep and CKD/CBD Prep for a complete week of review and preparation for both the academic and practical (design) portions of the NKBA Certification Examinations. The ASID Georgia Chapter is presenting a STEP Workshop, January 29 - 31, 2010 at Savannah College of Art and Design’s Atlanta campus,1600 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30309.

Please note – Important STEP Workshop Information: The National Council for Interior Design Qualification, Inc. (NCIDQ) announced in December 2008 that the NCIDQ Examination will be modified for Spring 2010. These modifications are necessary to ensure that the examination continues to test the knowledge and skills interior designers use in the course of their daily practice. The structure of the NCIDQ Examination will continue to include two half-day multiple-choice sections and a full-day drawing practicum. These changes are very in-depth and result in a major overhaul of the content/curriculum for STEP workshops.

2009 Holiday Progressive Dinner Reservations

It's holiday season again! Our annual Progressive Dinner will be held on Thursday, December 10 starting at 5:30 p.m. at Hearth & Home Interiors.  The main course will be at Guy T. Gunter and wrapping up coffee and desserts we'll gather at Daltile.

Lighting - What's New? [November 2009 Meeting]

Register for your seat to get insights on Light Control and Sustainable Residential Design.  Jacqueline Heslep will provide information to enable you to describe the components of sustainable design, identify how the control of electric and natural light contributes to residential energy savings, and integrate sustainable design clues into individual rooms.
